Helping me keep my resolution to update this blog more often will be its newest writer, Patrick Meighan. Patrick will bring his humor, and a more tabloid sensibility, to this site, with a focus on Los Angeles politics, particularly social justice issues.

I know this is hard to believe, but I've almost never read or posted to a blog. I guess it's time to move into the 21st century - especially now since Renata has created a blog for me too at my own website! I'm going to check in with you all regularly to see what's going on. We should get Daily Kos people to communicate with this - apparently that's a regular venue for Green bashing! -denise
